2018 Tours Season – Request For Proposals

Since 1994, Heritage Toronto has run its Tours program to enhance the understanding and appreciation of Toronto’s history. We are looking forward to the 2018 tour season, and to celebrating and sharing our tangible and intangible heritage with as many Torontonians and visitors as possible.

We are so glad that you are interested in telling the stories of Toronto’s past. Just as the City of Toronto proclaims “Diversity our Strength,” the power of the Heritage Toronto Tour Program lays in its base of dedicated volunteers and the myriad of voices they present to the public, supported by the capacity building, administrative, technical, and logistical assistance of Heritage Toronto staff.

Proposals are due by Friday, December 1st, 2017.

We know that this is preliminary and that more work will be done on it. At minimum, we need to know your proposed stops and the main topic or story you would tell at each one, as well as the sources you have been looking at. (If it's helpful, think of this as equivalent to the amount of information that you might put into a tour pamphlet).
