Join Heritage Toronto and the Heap family for the presentation of plaque honouring the legacy of life-long community organizers, trade unionists, socialists, and peace-activists Alice and Dan Heap.
Casual reception to follow from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at

Long-time Kensington market residents
Alice and Dan Heap were life-long community organizers, trade unionists, and socialists dedicated to providing jobs and housing for all and to achieving peace in the world.
They lived at 29 Wales Avenue with their seven children from 1968 to 1990.Their home was a centre for political activism with an open door to people needing shelter.
